Ham pudding
A warm and light entrée, rich in proteins. Use turkey or chicken ham as a pork ham substitute.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp plain flour (non-raising)
- 4 large eggs
- 4 cups whole milk / sour cream (any proportions, you choose)
- 150 g finely grated cheese (5.3 oz) (gruyère if available)
- 150 g ham (5.3 oz), minced
- salt, pepper, nutmeg
Preparation
In a mixing bowl whisk the eggs, add the flour, and mix well.Add the milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir well.
Sprinkle the cheese in individual ramequins, or a family one.
Pour the preparation and bake for 30 minutes in the oven at 200 C (400 F).
The flans are done when the blade (of a knife) comes out clean (or with dew only).
