My favourite Yves Calvi quip of 2011

Yves Calvi’s little digressions are well known to viewers of his daily TV show, even if it means cutting off a guest to slip them in.  Here is what I consider the best one of 2011.
Yves Calvi on the TV show Mots Croisés, Thursday 20 October 2011.
On the show "C dans l’air" on Thursday 20 October 2011 on France 5, covering the story of the illustrious, supposedly late, leader of the Libyan Jamahiriya, at minute forty-six of the video seen on France 5.fr, Yves Calvi interrupts Pierre Servent on the subject of Gaddafi’s successive outfits. [He] starts off as Lawrence of Arabia, it ends up as Alice Sapritch. Note the subtle switch from the pronoun il (he) to ça (it) in the original French, as if he were echoing the expression "ça finit mal" (it ends badly).  He probably doesn’t mean“il finit” (he ends up), because in its intransitive form, finir would be poorly chosen, especially here in the active voice, given that he was flushed out, passively, by the rebels.  That’s my interpretation.
